Meet our Instructors
Kayla started pole in 2016 because her friend had a groupon! It quickly became an obsession. She started with Vertical Fusion Boulder and Fort Collins in 2017 and began teaching for both studios in 2020, then bought the Longmont location in 2024. Pole has been life changing for her both inside out- she loves performing in showcases, training for competition, and most of all hanging out with everyone at the studio. Outside of pole, Kayla was formerly a professional horse trainer and vet tech. She has 4 horses and 4 dogs and loves to country swing dance.

Jessica

Jessica loves all things dance! She started Pole at Vertical Fusion in 2022 and began teaching in 2024. She says dance gives her a community and a release to tap into her body and creativity, and is passionate about creative movement and training to get stronger and more flexible. Outside of pole Jessica loves other forms of dance (such as hula hooping, stilettos, country and west coast swing!) She is an interior designer, mother of three, and loves to spend time with her dogs and horse.

Candace
Intro to Pole/ Level 1
Candace started pole in September of 2021 after stumbling into an open house and thought "why not?" What started as curiosity quickly became a full blown passion. She loves the endless challenge of pole and that there is always something new to conquer, now matter how far you have come. Candace started teaching in 2025 and loves sharing the joy of pole with others. She loves performing in showcases and connecting with audiences. Outside of the studio, Candace is a barber and floral assistant. Originally from South Carolina, she has called Colorado home for the last 12 years.

Angela
Level 2 / Level 3 / Smolder
Angela began dancing with Vertical Fusion Fort Collins in 2013. She then started teaching in Fort Collins in 2022 and later joined Longmont in 2024. She equally loves pole and lyra. Before aerial dance, she did ballet, burlesque, belly dance, and cheered semi pro. Outside of dance, Angela works in marketing and loves to read.
Tausha
Level 3 / Unhinged
Tausha began pole dancing in 2012 and was hooked from her first class. She's been teaching since 2016. Fostering confidence and self love as she watches her students achieve their goals, explore movements, and embrace their bodies and all they're capable of, is one of the most satisfying things she's ever done. When Tausha isn't poling, she's caring for her two kiddos and her mom, hanging out with friends, or reading a good sci fi novel.
